• JEANINE HEMINGWAY, CPA President & CEO
    Jeanine received a degree in Accounting from Indiana University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1996. In 2001, she started her own accounting firm, specializing in accounting, bookkeeping, training and tax services to individuals and small companies.   Jeanine is an active member of Cub Scouts, Pack 82, South Austin Barracudas Swim Team, and South Austin Business Association (SABA).

     

  • JODY VAN SLYKE Office Manager
    Jody has served in various administrative roles (including Office Administrator and Project Administrator) and for Jeanine since 2010.  She has an Associate of Applied Science Degree  and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family (in Texas and Canada), reading, and beach combing.
  • MONIQUE GUILBEAU Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer
    Monique received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans. She has worked in business accounting and operations since 1997. She has extensive experience with Peachtree accounting and commercial banking .  She moved to Austin , TX in 2004 and is an active volunteer in the community.

     

  • KAREN BUCHANAN, CPA Accountant
    Karen received a degree in Mathematics from the Northern Illinois University and went on to attain her Certified Public Accountant license. She has over 15 year experience in public accounting. Her focus has been in individual and small business accounting: including bookkeeping, compilations, budgeting, financial statement analysis, tax preparation and tax planning. Karen is an active volunteer in both her church and school.

     

  • Carol Pickert Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer

    Carol Pickert has forty years accounting experience ranging from civil service, entertainment, hospitality, retail, construction and healthcare fields. With her comes extensive experience of several platforms pertaining to accounting along with her expertise of QuickBooks from initial setups, end user training and problem solving. Carol is family and community oriented along with enjoying camping and hiking.

  • NANCY ALLGOOD Admin Specialist

    Nan began her career in the USAF, and then opened her own pastry shop in Kansas City, Missouri for nine years.  Following that she began working in Client Services making her way to Director of Client Services then COO of a Financial Firm in Kansas City.  She has been very active in advocating for children and parents of children with Autism and created several support groups and implemented services within various educational departments.

  • Jeffrey Schmidt Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer

    Jeffrey is a graduate of Hendrix College with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics. Jeffrey is a born and raised Austinite and he joined Jeanine part-time while completing an Advanced Technical Certificate in Accounting. Jeffrey has spent a decade working in the service industry and has cultivated a passion and talent for cooking. In his free time, Jeffrey enjoys woodworking and long hikes.

  • Kristen Webber Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer

    Kristen received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas State University and is currently working toward her CPA license. She is proficient in QuickBooks and has experience in the retail and HVAC industries. An advocate for the Epilepsy Foundation, Kristen enjoys giving back to the community.
